At Coastal IVF, we believe you should feel informed and supported at every stage of your pregnancy care, including understanding costs. Our fee structure is transparent, and we’ll guide you through any Medicare rebates you’re eligible for along the way.
Antenatal Visits
Following your initial consultation, you’ll attend regular antenatal appointments throughout your pregnancy.
The cost of these visits is partially covered by Medicare, with miminal out-of-pocket cost per visit.
Our team will help you track your rebates during pregnancy so you can make the most of your Medicare entitlements.
Initial Antenatal Visit Estimated out-of-pocket cost: $215
Pregnancy & Delivery Management Fee
(Fee varies - please contact our clinic for an individualised quote)
Pregnancy Management Fee:
A one-time Pregnancy Management Fee is applied around 28 weeks and covers your specialist obstetric care for the remainder of your pregnancy, including:
- 24/7 access to your obstetrician for urgent concerns
- Planning and coordination of labour and delivery
- Support and management of any complications that arise
This fee attracts a Medicare rebate, which our team will help you claim.
Please note: If you are uninsured, expecting twins or multiples, or have a high-risk pregnancy, an adjusted care plan may be recommended. A personalised fee estimate will be provided after consultation.
Labour and Delivery
Coastal IVF has no-gap arrangements with many private health funds for obstetric services related to labour and delivery.
This means that if you’re privately insured, your policy includes pregnancy cover, you may have no additional out-of-pocket obstetrician costs for your delivery.
We recommend confirming your level of cover with your insurer early in pregnancy.
